LINCOLNSHIRE is known for its pleasant villages, interesting market towns, magnificent medieval churches, prolific garden centres and rich agricultural heritage.
SPALDING is the largest market town within the district - situated on the River Welland - with an attractive waterfront boasting grand Georgian terraces, tree lined streets and pretty riverside walks. With a bustling market every Tuesday and Saturday, it is also host to many festivals and events throughout the year including French, Farmers and Gardeners markets. A regular train service links Spalding to Lincoln and Peterborough in just 25 minutes, and connections to London are available from both Grantham and Peterborough, so travelling on business or pleasure is fast and simple.
